Never worn, but kept
This shirt was a birthday present in 2002. It was never put on: the owner thought it too nice to get dirty. It stayed in the shop's plastic bag, in a cupboard the light never reached.
The navy fabric is smooth, the seams are tight and the cardboard tag still hangs on the left side. The only sign of all those years is the folds: twenty-four years of neat folding leaves its marks.
What we know
Season 2001/02, away shirt. Never worn according to the seller, which fits what we see: no wear, no pilling, no smell of washing. The tag and the plastic bag have been kept.
What we don't know
Who gave it and why it was never put on. The latter is what the seller remembers; we cannot prove it.
