Football shirts from the 1980s
During the 1980s, sponsor names on football shirts became more and more common. Many shirts from that time are made of synthetic fibres or a blend with cotton, fit loosely, have a collar or a V-neck, and keep to simple colours and patterns: hoops, stripes or blocks.
Because these shirts are so old, you will almost always find signs of use: a faded colour, a print with a light crack, some pilling at the collar. For every shirt below we describe this honestly, with photos and measured sizes, because old sizes often fit differently from modern ones.
