The story
Bought on the last matchday
According to the seller, this shirt was bought on the last matchday of the season, at a stall near the stadium. It was worn a few times at most, on Sundays, and then hung for years on the inside of a cupboard door.
The mustard fabric has kept its colour well and the seams are tight. On the chest is an ironed-on sponsor print with a hairline crack, and in the collar is a label with the size, still easy to read.
What we know
Season 1991/92, home shirt. Little worn according to the seller, which fits what we see.
What we don't know
Whether it really was the last matchday, and whether the shirt was worn in a match. We think it is a fan version, but we cannot prove it.
