Ten years in a sports bag
This shirt spent almost ten years in a sports bag. The previous owner took it to training sessions of an amateur team, as a spare kit for rainy evenings, and then forgot it in the boot of a car that no longer exists.
The shirt is split into two halves, black and cream, with a green collar. The cream side has turned warmer in colour than the black side, and on the back there is a faint mark where a number once sat.
What we know
Season 1998/99, away shirt. Kept in a sports bag for almost ten years, according to the seller. One owner.
